To request a return and refund, or to process an exchange, please read the conditions below and email hello@thinkersandmakers.com.au before returning your item(s).
Thinkers & Makers is happy to accept exchanges on most items for a period of 14 days from the date of shipment. Goods must be returned to us in original condition and packaging, unworn, unwashed and with all labels intact. A credit note or exchange will be offered on all full-priced items, subject to inspection.
* This applies to online orders only. Any purchases made instore can only be returned for an exchange or credit note.
Refunds will be issued via the same method used to make your purchase. Please allow up to 10 working days for the funds to clear. This will allow sufficient time for us to receive and inspect the product/s, follow-up with the relevant supplier/s and for funds to be processed. In most cases, this will be completed in less than 10 days.
Several types of goods are exempt from being returned unless faulty.
There are no refunds on sale or discounted items or purchases made with a sale promo code. Perishable goods such as food, all cosmetics and skincare, as well as gift cards or magazines, cannot be returned. Due to health regulations, certain products are exempt from being able to be returned due to change of mind these include:
- Earrings
- Beauty products such as nail polishes, creams, lotions, body oils, balms, etc.
(Yes, even if they were bought as a present, no exceptions)
All return and exchange shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. Thinkers & Makers assumes no responsibility for returned items that are lost or damaged during transit. We recommend using a trackable shipping service.

To avoid confusion or disappointment, please do not send your item(s) until you have contacted us by email and received a reference number.
International
Returns and refunds can only be arranged for orders within Australia. Any dispatched International orders are considered a final sale.
Cancelling your order
If you wish to cancel or make changes to your order, please contact hello@thinkersandmakers.com.au as soon as possible. We will do everything possible to accommodate you, however, if your order has already been shipped, our standard returns policy will apply.
Gift Vouchers
You're very welcome to purchase an online gift voucher, this is valid online.
You can also purchase an "In-Store" gift voucher in the shop, we'll print you out a nice piece of paper and it can say To: and From:
Vouchers are not redeemable for cash. If you lose your voucher, Thinkers & Makers cannot magic the code back for you! Treat your voucher like cash, if you lose it, it's gone.
Vouchers are valid for 36 months from date of purchase, but do try and pop in as soon as you can.
There are no refunds for change of mind or failure to redeem vouchers within the 36 month period.
If your voucher is expired we are unable to extend it. 36 months is HEAPS of time :)
PS: Please be nice to us, it's a real shame if you misplace your gift voucher but once they leave the shop they're your responsibility. :) Keep it somewhere safe and use it quickly so you can enjoy it.
Workshops
All sales are final.
If you’re unable to attend you are welcome to send someone else in your place.
If you miss the class, for whatever reason, you cannot be moved to another class and you are not entitled to a refund.
Classes are advertised well in advance to ensure the best attendance for our workshop hosts. Please do not email or call us to ask for a refund or to be moved to another class. It puts us in the very awkward position of repeating these terms and conditions to you.
By purchasing a workshop with Thinkers & Makers you agree to these sale terms.
