Kale 'Blue Dwarf' Heirloom Seeds
This is a Russian variety of kale that produces frilled leaves and is obviously cold hardy. Very productive, each plant can produce for well over a year, in between attacks from the white cabbage moth and its caterpillars.

Soil Ensure your soil is nutrient rich so prepare it with fresh manure and compost a fortnight before planting. Integrate good levels of organic matter to increase its water holding ability.
Soil pH Level 6.5-7.0
Position Full sun but will benefit from shading in warm weather.
How to Plant Soak seeds in water overnight prior to planting and then sow directly into your patch at a depth of about 1cm. Thin out once they have germinated, which should take 7-10 days.
Spacing 30 - 40cm
Depth 0.5 - 1cm
